ADAA A-Frames
All A-frames are constructed using aluminium. Each section is formed from one piece aluminium for strength, durability and reduced weight.
Aluminium ribs are then added to further strengthen the section and a large single pin hinge is welded into position which allows for the A-Frame to be split into two sections to reduce the weight while moving and for ease of both assembly and disassembly.
If required, the A-frame can be made height adjustable to suit your requirements.
The surface is coated with rubber granuals and if required rubber slats with rounded edges for safety are utilised. A full range of colours are available to match your club logo, or if for personal use, colours can be mixed and matched to suit your desire.
Designed to meet ADAA standards.
The A-Frame shown is adjustable height ANKC standard. For increased safety, the ramp-over above the hinge is designed to reduce the chance of injury to paws and claws being caught while negotiating the obstacle.
ADAA standard A-Frame
This all aluminium A-frame is built to ADAA standards. With a trapezoidal shape, the base measures 1200mm, while the apex is 900mm.
Each section is constructed from 1 piece aluminium for greater strength and durability, then coated with granulated rubber for traction.
Slats are moulded rubber granules which can be the same colour as the main surface or if you choose, a different colour.
The height is adjustable for 1600, 1675, 1750mm as per ADAA requirements.
As a custom addition, the Frame shown has feet which raise the contact zone 25mm off the ground to allow greater stability on uneven ground. These feet are included in the 2743mm height requirement.
It also has a training height of 1000mm from ground to apex.
For safety a centre chain is provided and must be in place when adjusting heights. The apex has zero gap and a large removable pin holds the two sections in place.
When stored the dimensions are length 2743mm x width base 1200mm top 900mm x depth 80mm.
To ensure quality and stability, Maximus is put over all equipment to check the rubber surface and slats.
ADAA standard A-Frame
Built to the same specifications as the A-Frame above, this unit has custom colours which work well to complement each other.
The choice of bright colours as opposed to the normal standard colours, can make the difference between training and enthusiastic training.
Choose the colours that motivate you and give you that "Lets do it" attitude.
